Measuring table size in a mounted diamond should be easy to carry out since this large facet is generally very accessible. As discussed earlier, both the Table Percentage Ratio Method (subsection #5.26) and the Table Percentage Bowing Method (subsection #5.27) are almost as effective as the plastic table gauge. However, for the greatest accuracy, the table gauge is highly recommended. The only detail that would impede on the accuracy would be the lack of measuring access of the diameter of the stone due to a bezel setting.
