The best way to evaluate diamonds is to familiarize yourself with actual dealer selling prices on a national (or international) level. Pay very close attention to the type of report (if any) that comes with the stones and the specifications. Most of the listed diamonds will not include every spec necessary to reflect proper value, but at least it will give you an idea. For example, strong blue fluorescence will always discount a stone slightly, but may not be specified in a list format.
