Grading Color Accurately in a Mounting (14.01)

Grading color in a mounting is even more difficult than clarity. As we discussed earlier in the course, accurate color grading takes very specific conditions: A clear 45˚-angle view of the pavilion on a non-fluorescent, white background and a good source of white light. Even under these optimum conditions it can still be difficult for the beginner to grade accurately. At best, an accurate color grade in a mounting would be an educated guess.
