Fancy colors are quite different in value determination. The most important indicator of value and salability is appearance. Regardless of what a lab report prints, the buyer will be the final judge of the overall impression that a stone makes. As with colored gemstones, a colored diamond can be quite difficult to describe without having the stone at hand.
