Drying (9.05)
For quantities of small stones, steam the diamonds inside the strainer, making sure the strainer is completely closed. Drying can be done with any bathroom blow dryer through the strainer. For individual diamonds rinse in water, dry with a lint-free cloth and then dip them in alcohol for the final rinse to make sure the water spots are removed. Again wipe the diamond(s) with your lint-free cloth and begin grading.
